A typical college student Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel) is unenthusiastically recruited to work for a master sorcerer Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) in modern day Manhattan and trying to defend the city from his arch-enemy named Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina). The two must prepare for their upcoming battle against the forces of darkness in modern Manhattan. Moreover, with all the courage Dave must survive his training, save the city and get the girl he loved as he becomes “The Sorcerers Apprentice”.
